Spyware
can only infect your computer by users knowingly or unknowingly install
spyware programs. Typically they can get in your computer by two ways:

Bundled with Freewares:
Software such as Kazaa or Screensaver are distributed for free. Because
of its free content, it is usually financed by advertising delivery
mediums. Some freewares make the installation of spyware mandatory.
By
law the freeware producers have to disclose what programs they install
and instruction and means available to remove them. During the process
of installation, you will be notified of what programs you are going to
install.

Active
scripts inherent in free content websites:
This method is more popular. Users are prompted to install scripts to
download something in the websites they are surfing.

Whenever you see this happens, do NOT click Yes/OK or Accept. The
software installed over the Internet always has an authenticity
certificate. If you do not know the source of the software, do not click
Accept or Always trust the content from this website.
